Yi Amaravati - Work Minar session for students at VR Siddhartha college
Yi Amaravati as a part of Entrepreneurship and Innovation vertical organised the F2T (Fervent Facile Talks) session at VR Siddhartha Engineering college.
More than 700 students from across 7 colleges took part in the event filled with entrepreneurship summit, panel discussions with eminent industry personnel and one on one interaction between startup mentors and students.
The Team addressed students on areas of starting a start-up, how to overcome the fear of failure and how to execute planned risks, proper usage of brain, importance of having a backup plan and freelancing, AI related start-ups and dependency of AI in entrepreneurship and gamification in educational app etc

On the occasion of National Small Scale Industrial Day on 30th August 2019 Yi Amaravati team organized an work shop in VSR and NVR college of engineering Tenali on Start Up Eco system stages and how students can impact the nation through their ideas.

Yi Amaravati organised an interactive learning session, Mythological Housie "Management lessons from Indian Mythology" by Mr.Rishi Nanda, renowned Mythologist where the Mr.Saathvik Chukkapalli Chair, Yi Amaravati introduced the speaker and shared the story of his journey towards Mythology. Mr.Rishi Nanda fascinated the delegates starting with a mysterious mythological Housie game. Along with the progression in the game, he started telling the intricacies of mythology with various stories across in the puranas starting with vignaharata Ganesha to the death of the Abhimanyu in chakravyuha in Mahabharata and Lord Rama to Lord Buddha. and the essence of these stories is taught as lessons with real life examples of Ratan Tata, Steve jobs and helping the audience to understand and deal with the modern-day management of business and most importantly Life the session was filled with the reasoning of why and to rediscover ourselves with the greater destiny that needed to embark. Yi Amaravati Team Yuva came up with a new initiative called BOOK DONATION WALL A place that has a wall set up , to gather books from different genres of readers ,academic books , recreational books that are collected , organised and distributed back to the government school children, orphanages who cannot afford to buy books , and to people who are less privileged to buy them but has the zeal to gain knowledge.About 11 venues have been identified to launch this book donation wall across Amaravati from 8th to 15th June.

World Environment Day with a theme focusing on “Plastic Pollution” - Yi Amaravati
Yi Amaravati Chapter celebrated World Environment Day with a theme focusing on “Plastic Pollution” on 5 June 2018 in Vijayawada.
Speaking
at the Session Mr Kanthi Rana Tata, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police,
Vijayawada City said that civic sense plays vital role in controlling the
pollution. He was of the view that change is a gradual phenomenon which would
lead to development. He also emphasized that all stakeholders such as media,
industry plays vital role in sustainable development. Speaking on the
importance of security he said that it is vital in ensuring conducive
environment which leads to creation of prosperity. He felt that outward
thinking is needed for following the best practices across the world. He also
released the flyer on “100 Ways You Can Contribute to Environment” on
the occasion of World Environment Day.
Mr B Madhusudan Rao, Joint Chief Environment Engineer, AP Pollution Control Board said that excessive use of pesticides is causing damage to the environment. He felt that there is a need to encourage reusable products for protecting the environment. He observed that there has been excessive use of plastics in the last four decades. It is necessary to discourage use of plastics, he added.
Mr Tarun Kakani, Imm. Past Chair, Yi Amaravati Chapter said that it is right time for us to plan for the future, adopting patterns of sustainable production and consumption of plastics. Every individual has to take responsibility and every individual need to adopt good behaviour so that collectively contribute and protect the rights of the future generation.

Annual Session of Young Indians Amaravati Chapter
Young Indians, Amaravati Chapter organised its Annual Meeting and a Session on “Empowering Youth : Skilling, Entrepreneurship & Job Creation” on 1 March 2018 at Vijayawada.
Mr Bhaskar Nannapaneni, CEO, Nannapaneni Venkata Rao College of Engineering & Technology was appointed as the Chapter Chair of the Young Indians Amaravati Chapter for the year 2018-19 and Mr Saathvik Chukkapalli, Director, Popular Shoe Mart India Pvt. Ltd has been appointed as the Co Chair for the Amaravati Chapter for the year 2018-19.
Earlier, Mr Tarun Kakani, Outgoing Chair, Young Indians (Amaravati Chapter) welcomed all the speakers and made a detailed presentation on the activities of Young Indians Amaravati Chapter for the year 2017-18. During his presentation, he highlighted the unique initiatives undertaken by the chapter. He thanked the members for their unflinching support.
Mr Jacob Joy, National Chairman, Young Indians & Director, J J Confectionery Pvt Ltd spoke on the roles and responsibilities of Young Indians in Nation building and also how Yi is playing an active and important role in working with all the stakeholders in shaping the young minds of India to participate in this journey.
