VERTICAL HIGHLIGHTS AND YEAR SYNOPSIS

There are 4 major categories disability-visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disability. India has around 80 million people living with disability, which coupled with low literacy, few jobs and widespread social stigma are making differently abled people among the excluded in India.

At young Indians we recognized this gap and under our new initiative accessibility we will adopt ways to provide equal access and equal opportunity to people with disabilities, we also aim to address their concerns on a 360 degree basis and we strive towards creating awareness on accessible solutions leading to employability and improved quality of living of the differently abled.

The number of differently abled people in India is expected to rise sharply mainly due to aging and transportation mishaps hence Built-Environment-Accessibility ,Transport- system accessibility ,Information-communication-ecosystem-Accessibility are few key areas Young Indians will be working in times to come .
