The inaugural edition of the Young Indians Parliament (YIP) in 2024 marked a major milestone in civic education for school students across India.
Over 4,300 students participated in the online preliminary round, showcasing an incredible response nationwide. From this talented pool, students were shortlisted for the regional rounds held in eight vibrant cities: Nashik, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ranchi, Noida, Hubballi, Visakhapatnam, and Rajkot.
The journey culminated in an inspiring National Finals in New Delhi on December 1, 2024, where selected delegates debated, collaborated, and brought parliamentary proceedings to life.
YIP 2024 laid the foundation for a new generation of informed, articulate, and responsible young citizens—and we’re just getting started.
After the resounding success of its first edition, we are proud to launch the Young Indians Parliament 2025 (YIP 2.0)—a unique national platform that continues to nurture civic awareness, leadership, and policy thinking among school students.
With wider participation and deeper engagement, YIP 2.0 will see conversations and debates that are more impactful, focused, and purpose-driven—empowering students to articulate ideas, challenge perspectives, and contribute meaningfully to discussions that matter.
